Trading Baniya is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

This commitment is in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (Sections 40, 42, and 46) and Rule 15(1)(c) of the RPwD Rules, 2017, which mandate time-bound accessibility and access to information and communication technology for persons with disabilities.

This website strives to conform to the following accessibility standards:

• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — International standards developed by the W3C for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
• Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) — National guidelines for website accessibility and usability issued by the Government of India.
• IS 17802:2022 — Indian Standard on accessibility requirements for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) products and services, issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
• SEBI Circular on Digital Accessibility (SEBI/HO/ITD-1/ITD_VIAP/P/CIR/2025/111 dated July 31, 2025) — Compliance guidelines for digital accessibility applicable to all SEBI Regulated Entities.

• Skip to Main Content: A skip navigation link is provided at the top of every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation and jump directly to the main content.
• Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements (links, buttons, menus, accordions) are fully accessible via keyboard. A visible focus indicator (2px outline) is provided on all focusable elements.
• Screen Reader Compatibility: The website uses semantic HTML5 elements (header, nav, main, section, footer) and ARIA attributes (aria-label, aria-hidden, role) to ensure compatibility with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
• Text Size Adjustment: A text size toggle (A, A+, A++) is available in the navigation bar, allowing users to increase or decrease font size without using browser zoom.
• High Contrast Mode: A high contrast mode toggle is available alongside the theme switcher, providing enhanced contrast for users with low vision.
• Color Contrast: Text and background color combinations meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text). Most combinations exceed AAA requirements.
• Reduced Motion: The website respects the "prefers-reduced-motion" operating system setting. When enabled, all CSS animations and transitions are disabled.
• Responsive Design: Content reflows properly at all viewport widths down to 320px without horizontal scrolling.
• Alternative Text: All meaningful images have descriptive alternative text. Decorative icons use aria-hidden="true" to be ignored by screen readers.
• Descriptive Headings: A logical heading hierarchy (h1 through h4) is maintained throughout, with no skipped levels.
• Accessible Tables: Data tables include proper table headers (th with scope), captions, and aria-label attributes for screen reader users.
• Touch Targets: All interactive elements meet the minimum 44x44px touch target size requirement.
• Dark/Light Mode: A theme toggle is provided for users who prefer dark or light backgrounds.

While we strive for full accessibility, some limitations may exist:

• External links (YouTube, TradingView, WhatsApp) lead to third-party websites whose accessibility is outside our control.
• Content is currently available in English only. Hindi language support is planned for a future update.
• Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to ensure all documents meet accessibility standards.
